In his sixth year at Hogwarts, Harry receives private lessons from Dumbledore, who shows him memories revealing Voldemort’s past and the secret of Horcruxes—objects containing fragments of his soul that make him immortal.

Harry also discovers an old Potions textbook filled with notes by the mysterious “Half-Blood Prince,” which helps him excel in class but raises questions about its owner. Meanwhile, tension builds as Draco Malfoy carries out a secret mission for Voldemort. The story culminates with a dangerous journey to retrieve a Horcrux, after which Dumbledore is killed by Severus Snape atop the Astronomy Tower.

In his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry struggles with isolation as many in the wizarding world deny Voldemort’s return. The Ministry of Magic interferes at Hogwarts by installing Dolores Umbridge as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, turning the school into a repressive environment. In secret, Harry forms Dumbledore’s Army (D.A.) to teach fellow students real defensive magic.

Harry also experiences disturbing visions connected to Voldemort’s mind. These ultimately lure him and his friends to the Department of Mysteries, where they battle Death Eaters. During the fight, Harry’s godfather Sirius Black is killed, a devastating loss. The confrontation exposes Voldemort to the wizarding world, forcing the Ministry to admit his return.

 Lord Voldemort, the dark wizard responsible for the deaths of Harry's parents, is growing stronger. At the Quidditch World Cup, Voldemort's signature Dark Mark appears in the sky over the stadium, causing pandemonium. The lightning-bolt-shaped scar on Harry's forehead is sporadically causing him agonizing pain, and he is also hearing disturbing voices. Back at Hogwarts, the students are getting ready for the upcoming Triwizard Tournament. Witches and wizards from two other schools are coming to Hogwarts for the year to compete in a series of grueling contests. The tournament is open only to students age 17 and above, but when someone secretly enters Harry's name, he is forced to compete. How can a 14-year-old possibly pass tests that might be fatal to an advanced wizard? And with the threat of Lord Voldemort looming, will he be able to focus on the tournament at all? For Harry, his friends, and everyone in the Wizarding world, the stakes are about to become much higher.

 This fourth installment, with a heart-pounding and emotional climax, serves as a turning point in the series, for the reader and for Harry himself.

Harry returns to Hogwarts for his fourth year and learns that the school will host the Triwizard Tournament, a dangerous magical competition between three wizarding schools. Although underage, Harry is mysteriously entered as a fourth champion when the Goblet of Fire selects him. He faces three deadly tasks: fighting a dragon, rescuing friends from the Black Lake, and navigating a maze filled with enchantments.

Alongside the tournament, the Quidditch World Cup introduces readers to Death Eaters and the return of Voldemort’s power. The book culminates when Harry and Cedric Diggory grasp the Triwizard Cup, which turns out to be a portkey transporting them to a graveyard. There, Lord Voldemort returns to full strength, killing Cedric and attempting to kill Harry. Harry narrowly escapes with proof that Voldemort is back.

The attacks lead to the discovery of Tom Riddle’s diary, a dark magical object that reveals the memory of a younger Voldemort. Harry eventually finds the chamber beneath the school, rescues Ginny Weasley, and defeats the deadly Basilisk with help from Fawkes the phoenix and the Sword of Gryffindor. He destroys the diary, unknowingly eliminating one of Voldemort’s Horcruxes.

But then the real trouble begins – someone is turning Hogwarts students to stone. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a more poisonous rival than ever? Could it possibly be Hagrid, whose mysterious past is finally told? Or could it be the one everyone at Hogwarts most suspects… Harry Potter himself!

The central mystery revolves around the Philosopher’s Stone, a magical object that grants immortality. Harry, Ron, and Hermione uncover a plot to steal it. In the climax, Harry confronts Professor Quirrell, who is hosting a weakened Voldemort. With his friends’ help and his mother’s protective love, Harry prevents Voldemort from regaining power.

Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!
